AI, apps and SMART network solutions

Water

Trident offers solutions to businesses to operate SMART Networks, both in clean water and waste water.  Utilising our own in house expertise we have competed research and development (R&D) to help water companies operate SMART networks.  We offer solutions where data is utilised to provide insight and information allowing for informed decision in relation tot how your network is operating in real-time. When you become better informed, our systems will allowing you to provide a better understanding on network conditions to your customers when the need arises.

Our software engineers and AI team can develop in house data lakes and data warehouse and provide the right tools to analyse data for accuracy, issues and abnormalities which may need cleansing or human or AI attention.  We can then use the data to provide you with SMART tools to provide you with Live modelling for example, utilising your SMART devices and all available telemetry data across your network.  These tools can then provide warnings of a problem, often weeks or days ahead of the 'problem' becoming a major incident or issue.

We are also open to discussion about developing new tools that your business may require to improve performance, reporting, customer interaction or to simply streamline systems that may already be in use.

Data Verification

With machine learning, we can analyse and process large amounts of data quickly, and then provide insight and analysis from that data

Automated model verification tool

Verifies telemetry, model, flow balances and depth data with a click of a button

It reduces the amount of manual verification by over 90%

Leakage data tools

Identifies anomalous leakage, aiming to predict when bursts will occur, we incorporate ‘detection’ data – showing a request for leakage detection activity.

This allows us to understand at what point the rise in leakage was detected, and how soon before that using our technology it would have been detected.  This provides detail around response times for each DMA, and where leakage has not been identified soon enough.

We calculate how soon after a leakage detection activity was requested, if the DMA leakage levels return to normal.

We can then benchmark performance against other DMA’s, identifying problems sooner.

Incident management software, providing live network performance advice on valve operations or network changes and reporting of the overall network performance for regulators. Email us to talk through your AI / software requirements.

SMART Networks and incident management

We have developed systems that utilise our industry leading AI technology to capture data from all the various different sensors you have across your network to provide you with indication of change, or when something is likely to happen on your network or a specific asset, this can often be weeks or days ahead of the issue becoming a major problem.

When an incident does occur we have also developed incident management systems which provide insight to network performance, give technicians detail about what valves that needs to operating, keeping customers in formed utilising mobile SMS technology, and complete the regulatory reporting for the ODI performance measure such as Supply Interruption and Leakage.

Automated model builds

Trident has created software that can deliver automated model builds.  We have developed an end-to-end systems that:

  • Retrieves, cleans and verifies GIS data prior to the model build process, saving hours of work carried out by a network modeller.

  • Automatically builds models to the clients specification, then validates and runs a model from scratch.  Model data using our data architecture can then also be pushed back to GIS to provide some understanding of the network models without the need to use the modelling software.

  • All models are verified and the system highlights areas with problems or discrepancies between the model and telemetry data.

  • We have developed data lake and warehouse systems so that data can be store d in a single data warehouse that contains one version of the truth.

We use a component-based architecture so that specific modules can be implemented individually to meet client requirements.
