Trident offers a team of experts in waste water modelling services, to complement our clean water modelling teams. We are utilising the latest version of Autodesk InfoWorks ICM waste water modelling software to design and provide detailed analysis to flood and pollution issues as well as providing optioneering and design solutions for your waste water network.

The importance in having the right solutions to design and improve waste water networks is vital to both water utilities, government, the general public and the environment. We are confident that our team of experts will be able to help you develop the correct design solutions as you continue to develop and improve your waste water networks ensuring you meet stricter government and regulatory targets. Within the UK (2024), a new Water (special measures) Bill will make the bosses of private water companies personally liable for lawbreaking, and give the water regulator new powers to ban bonuses. Trident believes we can deliver design solutions to help you overcome this, and working with our Trident Intelligence team, as with our clean water teams, develop new AI solutions to improve network understanding, asset health and provide better early warning systems to prevent and reduce spills, flooding and pollution incidents with the correct infrastructure in place.

At Trident, as well as offering the required optioneering and design solutions, we also specialise in waste water model builds and model maintenance as we do with clean water models. Working with our clients and key stakeholders, alongside our waste water and clean water modelling teams, and Trident Intelligence, we have developed tools to assess and grade any model library, outlining models that require maintenance and as well as a confidence scale on models not being updated. Where models need to be updated, we use our team of expert modellers to update existing or build new to meet our clients needs.

In addition to the Trident intelligence tools we have developed, our modellers are also experienced in model verification, using telemetry and flow survey verification on an asset and catchment level, providing high confidence in the model representation of the network. As part of the work we undertake, all models undergo a 'fit for use' assessment, as our clean modellers do, providing a full model update as required. This will include any survey information and then a verification against real life telemetry data and rainfall. Our team have significant expertise in model verification and will deliver on the commitments agreed, to provide an excellent service that you expect.
